How many dogs can I bring to EuroParcs Molengroet, and what are the costs?

A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per stay in the pet-friendly accommodations at our park. For stays with a dog, a surcharge applies per pet per night , which is automatically calculated in the booking system as soon as you indicate that you are bringing a pet.

On which beaches near your park is my dog welcome?

Within a 20-minute drive, you’ll be at the beach in Schoorl or Bergen aan Zee . From October through May, dogs are allowed to run freely and swim on virtually the entire beach here. During the summer season (May through September), dogs must be kept on a leash during the day between 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy a wonderful vacation in North Holland with your dog at our resort in Noord-Scharwoude. Our vacation park is nestled among expansive walking trails in the polder, just a 15-minute drive from the charming town of Alkmaar, a 20-minute drive from the beach, and right across from the Geestmerambacht recreation area. For a quick morning or evening walk with your four-legged friend, there’s a lovely green area right outside our gate. Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome for a relaxing stay, both on our campsites and in our various chalets.

A Stroll Through the Polder: Discover the Most Beautiful Routes from Our Park

From our park, it’s just a 300-meter walk to the Geestmerambacht recreational area. Our favorite routes are right around the corner:

Zomerdel Loop, 4.9 km | A complete loop around the lake with great swimming spots for your dog. Your dog is allowed to run off-leash in some areas along this route.
Forest and Nature Trail 3.8 km | A varied walk through the older part of the park, past wooded areas, the Lamslik, and open grasslands.
Kleimeer Loop 6.2 km | This is a slightly longer hike that combines Geestmerambacht with a loop around the Kleimeer nature reserve.

Your stay with your four-legged friend

Whether you’re coming as a couple, choosing a cozy glamping tent or campsite, or staying with the whole family in group accommodations for up to 12 people, you’ll always find the perfect place to stay at our park. Our chalets feature a fully equipped kitchen, and your dog is welcome in a selection of them. Dogs must be kept on a leash at our park, and there are convenient trash cans with poop bags available; please note that there is no crate or dog shower provided with the accommodation.
